Kære alle 

Vi står på kanten af det nye år og desværre som frygtet i en fortsat alvorlig Covid-19 situation i Danmark. Smitteniveauet er fortsat højt og den kommende tid er forbundet med koldt vejr, hvor smitteforholdene er værst. 

Regeringen forlænger derfor de skærpede tiltag i hele landet frem til og med søndag d. 17. januar 2021. Det meddelte statsministeren på et pressemøde i går. 

På Det Kongelige Akademi – Arkitektur, Design, Konservering har direktionen besluttet at forlænge denne periode frem til d. 28. februar. Den primære baggrund er hensynet til den videre undervisning og eksamener, hvor der er brug for at kunne planlægge i en lidt længere horisont og ud fra formodningen om, at smittetrykket fortsat vil være højt. 

Det betyder, at al undervisning foregår digitalt og alle ansatte i udgangspunktet arbejder hjemme til slutningen af februar. 

Der bliver arbejdet videre på konsekvenserne af de forskellige konkrete forhold i denne periode - særligt omkring eksamener – og disse bliver kommunikeret direkte til eventuelle berørte grupper. 

Direktionen er særligt opmærksomme på omstændighederne for de medarbejdere, der bliver ekstra udfordret i de kommende uger, bl.a. fordi skolebørn ikke kan komme i skole. Vi opfordrer derfor til, at man tager fat i nærmeste leder for at aftale nærmere, hvordan man kan tilpasse forholdet mellem arbejde og privatliv.

Vi håber, at I alle må få en dejlig nytårsaften. På trods af alle begrænsninger. Og så planlægger vi stadig revanche med livet på vores forskellig campus i løbet af det nye år.

Dear All,

We are looking into a new year and unfortunately as feared in a continued serious Covid-19 situation in Denmark. The level of infection remains high and the coming time is associated with cold weather, where the infection conditions are worst.

The Government is therefore extending the intensified restrictions throughout the country until and including Sunday 17 January 2021. The Prime Minister announced this at a press conference yesterday.

At the Royal Academy - Architecture, Design, Conservation, the Board of Directors has decided to extend this period until 28 February. The primary background is the consideration for further teaching and exams, where there is a need to plan in a slightly longer horizon and based on the assumption that the infection pressure will continue to be high.

This means that all educational activities take place digitally and all employees are to work from home until the end of February.

The Board of Directors are looking further into the consequences of the various specific conditions during this period - especially around exams - and these will be communicated directly to any affected groups.

The Board of Directors is particularly aware of the circumstances of the employees who will be extra challenged in the coming weeks, e.g. because school children cannot get to school. We therefore encourage you to contact your nearest manager to agree in more detail on how to adapt the relationship between work and private life.

We hope you all have a wonderful New Year's Eve. Despite all restrictions. And then we are still planning revenge with life on our various campuses during the new year.
